January 2007 Meeting Information

January 23, 2007
Technical Overview of Spring MVC

This month's meeting will feature a technical overview of the Spring MVC, the third leg of the Spring triangle. Spring MVC simplifies web application development by providing a dispatcher (appropriately named DispatcherServlet) to dispatch requests to various handlers and views. Ease of testing, data binding, form validation, and implementation of multiple views are just some of the benefits of using Spring MVC. There will be a step-by-step review of how to develop a small web application using Spring MVC.

Meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad second floor meeting hall starting promptly at 7:30pm. Meetings are open to the public, and visitors are encouraged to join ACGNJ.
